  1. In previous articles, Vince recommends NOT to mix protein and milk. Here, Rheo is mixing milk and protein.
    What is this correct path?

    1. Keep in mind, this is Rheo Blair (aka Irving Johnson)’s protein drink, not Vince’s.
Vince said, “throw away milk” (too many carbs). Use 1/2 & 1/2 or whole cream.

  2. Vince did mixed milk in with his protein, He just did not do it with a blender as he stated it would change the nutritional value of the drink.

He would mix the eggs and protein powder in a blender(if he used powder, often times he would just use eggs). Then pour the mixture in a glass and add in half and half and stir with a spoon and drink.

  3. When he recommends dropping the eggs in boiling water for 30 seconds is that the same thing as poaching the eggs

  4. One could always try Rheo Blair’s $1,000 method for poaching eggs, i.e. drop them into water heated to 180°F – tho’ I usually wait till it’s 190° as temperature drops off once you add eggs – and cook for approx.. 3-mins. White is soft but cooked and yolk is still raw. Perfect for protein drinks.
