I picked this exercise up from the late Vince Gironda. I don’t think you’ll ever hear about it because it’s quite unusual but it’s a honey to give some life to a worn out chest routine.
Building Gladiator Pectorals
When you do dips in this fashion, it’s hard to get even 6 reps just using body weight.
This long forgotten muscle group sits just under and to the side of the pecs. Looks almost like the fingers of the hand. Really a striking muscle group. Almost no one has this area developed anymore.
If you’re having a hard time feeling bench press on your chest, press with the outside butt of the palm.
Flys are more effective if the dumbbells are held much lower than normal.
I’ll let you in on a secret … looking good and feeling good doesn’t take long workouts or heavy weights. The secret is hidden in the contact between the mind and the muscle.
If bench press leaves you flat … no pump … or any of that other good stuff, listen closely.
